Hello again, I had another problem a few days ago, but fixed it.
But now I am getting this strange behaviour.

PC:
OS: Windows 7 32-bit
Mobo: ASUS P8P67-M Pro
CPU: i7-2600K
RAM: 2 x 2GB Kingston
Hard disk 1: 300GB Barracuda
Hard disk 2: Old 250GB SATA 1 generation
Optical Drive 1:Standard DVD writer
Optical Drive 2:Standard DVD reader

Problem:
When I boot (EFI Bios) I am automatically transfered to the EFI Bios screen, reason being it's not able to detect my hard disks, when booting. But once in the "Advanced" set up screen I go to the boot priorities and only see my optical drives and USB drives. I do not see my hard disks.

But if I go to the boot override screen I see my two hard disks and can boot from there.

So how come it won't boot from them at the start and why can't I put them in the boot priority field?

Hi Markus,

Is this a recent problem? What has changed between the time it could boot up successfully and now? What version of the EFI BIOS do you have?

Regards,
Golden

Thanks for the reply, I am using version: 0405
The changes I made was only re-arrange my cables in the case since it was messy. And I changed the SATA ports. Still the same 3GB/s though.

Hi,

Can I suggest change back to the original SATA port on the motherboard, and see if the same problem exists?

Regards,
Golden
