not connected no connections available

Hi members
The message above shows up with an exclamation mark in the status bar, though the internet works perfectly.
Under homegroup it says:
this computer can't connect to a home group
The home group is not ready yet............

I have tried all sorts to no avail.
Would anyone of you be able to guide me on this?

Thanks, but I need more info in order to help. What edition of Windows 7 are you running on your MacBook Pro? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit? What virtualization software are you running it under?

Have reinstalled the OS and the problem solved itself.
