I would like to know if i can add some more dedicated video RAM to my graphics card.
If i can how would i do that?
My graphics card is Nvidia 7025 GeForce 630a.
Its dedicated video RAM is only 128 MB RAM.
I'm pretty sure thats not enough :(
Can anybody help?

P.S.:Anybody know some great games that doesn't need a a very good PC?

The only way you can do that is to allocate more system memory to the video in the bios, as that isn't a video card but integrated video. It all depends on whether the option is even present in the bios, sometimes not depending on whether the computer is custom/self built or from an OEM like Dell/HP/etc that like to hide settings like that.

Do i need to tell any special specs to make sure i can give my
graphics card some more dedicated video RAM?
Also i am kinda noob with pc's so do you know how i can get into my BIOS?

Make and model of computer if a pre-built, or make and model of the motherboard is custom would help.

Did your computer come pre-assembled? If so, is it a Dell, HP, or some other make?

If it is custom built, what is the make and model of the motherboard?

If unsure the free version of this,

Speccy - Download

should tell you.

It says that the model of my motherboard is GeForce 7025.
It doesn't say what the make of my motherboard is.
I now by myself that its pre-assembled.
I don't know if its Dell or HP or something.
It doesn't say that either :(

I don't find a proper manual for download from HP for the s3700y.

Here's something a bit generic:

BIOS Setup Utility Information and Menu Options HP Pavilion Slimline s3700y Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

You may be able to set the amount of RAM reserved for graphics in the Advanced menu in the BIOS setup. The specs on the machine suggest that you can take it up to 256MB:

HP Pavilion Slimline s3700y Desktop PC Product Specifications HP Pavilion Slimline s3700y Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

I doubt that games that require more video RAM will run tolerably, though.

The machine has a PCI-E X16 graphics slot, so you could, in principle, add a discrete graphics card. It would have to be a low profile (half height) card, which limits things. However, you have a 160W power supply. That's below the minimum spec for all discrete graphics cards that I've seen.

Sorry about that.

pretty sure a hd 5450 could run on that and could play games on medium at around 1204x768-1280X720. Use to use this card before i upgrade my psu and got a 6870 for my gpu. Just to be safe I would at least get a 300watt unless you plan to upgrade later to something that uses a lot more power but I believe this would run since the most it uses is 38 watts under load and 12 when idle. Pretty powerful card for low profile and was running games like mass effect 2 and far cry 2 on medium and team fortress 2 on mid-high settings with around 28-40fps on 1024x768-1280x720 depending what game it was, could run batman arkham asylum almost maxed at 30-40fps expect for aa and some effects like dust once i oc the memory on the card a bit,With stock clocks i ran pretty much everything at low-medium at 1024x768-1280x720 at 30fps.I had a great experience with it for around a year then I upgraded. With

u think this card would actually work with a 160 watt power supply thats already in my computer, or would i have to upgrade it, not much space in this little thing for something much bigger

I was being conservative. For example:

Sapphire Technology Web Site#

Sapphire recommends a 400W PSU or greater. That seems absurd for a card that consumes so little power, but Sapphire doesn't admit to less.

I admit that I was trying to discourage Kapone86 from the upgrade. (I really can't encourage people to mess with appliance PCs.) However, I see:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...eValue=4195:31894&PropertyCodeValue=679:55197

that a low-profile 5450 card can be had for about $30. (An Asus card has a $20 rebate, bring the cost + shipping to $16.) It won't be a super gaming card, but it ought to be much better than pre-2012 onboard graphics. (While it's still on the market, the 7025/630a chipset dates from 2007, according to Wikipedia.)

ye i think it would probably run and its a small card doesnt even have a fan on it that's how low powered it is ,just has a heatsink on it. If you want to be on the safe side though just get a 300watt psu should be fine even with 200watts. I say it should run on that psu not 100% sure but i believe it would since the max wattage is 20-30watts under load .
