Solved Not sure how to decipher SFC Details file, can anyone help?

Hi all...I am a newbie to these forums as a MEMBER, but I know they are very helpful and chock full of good folks, so I am giving this a try.

Recently ran an sfc /snannow and it came back with message that some errors couldn't be fixed, etc.

Seems to a be a bunch of issues, but as I have come to find out, many have zero relevance.

Can someone check out a sfcdetails.txt file for me? I'll upload if/when someone responds.

My usual disclaimer: I'm not an expert at anything.

While waiting for an SFC expert to take a look at your log, please see the "Note" under Option Two, Step 4 in this tutorial. Did you run the SFC scan at least 3 times and reboot your computer immediately after each scan? Did you try the SURT?

From what the Forum experts have explained to me, some files have a dependency on other files. Just as an example, File "B" might have to be fixed before File "D" can be fixed and File "D" might have to be fixed before File "G" can be fixed. If File "B" happens to be in use when the SFC scan is run, it may not be able to be fixed until the computer is rebooted, thus allowing File "B" to return to a "not in use" status. If this makes sense.

There really is none. System files are backed up in the winsxs folder and if the one in use is corrupt, it also corrupts the backed up one.
SFC checks winsxs for a good copy, if not there running it again won't help.

Be patient, I'll let someone know who can help you fix this. He's a student and may have finals to cram for at this time.

The fix will likely undo any custom themes you have installed, they may be causing the issue. Tom982 will help you.

I've uploaded a file - stzaa.zip - to my SkyDrive at Noel's SkyDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the saved file and select Extract all...
Change the target to C:\ and click on Extract
Close all windows (it would be a good idea to print these instructions!)
Now reboot to the Repair Environment - as soon as the machine restarts, start tapping F8 - this should bring up the Advanced Boot Menu, at the top of which should be the option 'Repair my Computer'
Pick that
You'll have to log in with your username and password.
Pick the option to use a Command Prompt
At the prompt type
DIR C:\stzaa
hit the enter key - if you get a 'Not Found' error try
DIR D:\stzaa
or
DIR E:\stzaa

The drive letter in use when you find the folder will need to be substituted (for<drive>) into the following command...

XCOPY <drive>:\stzaa <drive>:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h

(e.g. XCOPY P:\wfire P:\windows\winsxs /y /i /s /v /h )

run the command (it should take almost no time)and when the prompt returns, type
EXIT
and hit the Enter key to exit Command Prompt - reboot to Normal Mode Windows.
Now run SFC /SCANNOW in an Elevated Command Prompt
then reboot and upload the new CBS.log file to your SkyDrive Public folder, and post a new link
Also run a new MGADiag report, and post the result.

I have been having a couple of issues that have been annoying the hell out of me for a while. My Radeon HD 7470 driver/device has been routinely deciding to disable and error code 43 on me for no reason; the sleep mode comes back to a black screen instead of waking up; and even though I don't have a ton of processes starting with the laptop (I unchecked a few in msconfig) it takes WAAAAY too long to start up from a cold boot.

There's no reason why a PC with the chipset this has and 8 GB of RAM installed should be as slow as it is to start up in my opinion. By comparison, my wife's laptop which is basically the same config all around comes on quickly and does not have ANY of these issues.
