Hey guys. Yesterday i started getting this error whenever i tried to load a video or play a game. It randomly started happening (didnt install or download anything yesterday). Funny enough, i can still watch the video or play the game, but the error prompt each time is annoying. All my drivers are up to date, i ran several virus scans, ran sfc /scannow on command prompt and nothing worked. Here's a screenshot of the error and thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums dahead,

nvscpapi.dll seems to be a library file for your nVidia graphics card driver, I would suggest reinstalling the graphics card driver using this method:
  1. Download Driver
  2. Start :orb: Type: Device Manager
  3. Expand Display Adapters
  4. Right-Click Driver Name, Uninstall
  5. Reboot
  6. Run Driver Sweeper
  7. Reboot
  8. Install Downloaded Driver
Driver Sweeper will scan for any left over files from the old driver, old driver files can cause conflicts with new driver installations. Create a System Restore point beforehand, in case any problems or issues arise.

Driver Sweeper:
This will avoid any corruption being leftover from the original installation.

Hello. Thanks for replying. Is nvspcap.dll and nvscpapi.dll the same file? Anyways, i tried out what you suggested (and even reverted to an earlier nvidia driver 240.18) but it didn't help.

I think the libraries are very similar, do you have the nVidia Control Panel installed at all?

Yep

It seemed the .dll file could be linked to the the nVidia Control Panel, I would suggest reinstalling the Control Panel if you need it.

The problem has come back :(
I already tried reinstalling all my nvidia software. Any other ideas?

I would perform a clean installation of the graphics card driver without the Control Panel.

How does one do a clean install of a driver?
