Adjusting my seasonal over-clock because my room temperature is now getting a little hot here in NY. (fantastic weather these past couple days)

I'm not sure if this makes sense but in dropping my CPU Over clock (from 3.2ghz to stock) it seems that my GPU has also decreased in temperature?

Is this logical?

Possibly, less heat from the heatsink.

oc question,
Logical and to be expected. The faster, the hotter. Power for ac is frequency related.

where R represents a load resistance.

Without going thru a detailed explanation, the first equation indicates that if we vary the frequency the voltage varies proportionally.

The second equations shows that power is related to the square of the voltage.

Also have an Asus ha1002xp netbook with Win 7 Ultimate installed.
Yes, think of it this way:
You have reduced the ambient temperature in the case (so everything will lose some heat)
You have dropped power usage to the motherboard itself, so everything mounted on it will have less base heat.

not fast enough
You are reducing cpu performance. Why OC in the first place, if you were not after performance? I to live in NY, summer heat is no different from, heating your house or apartment in the winter.
But its your choice.
