Solved Old Windows 7 Files

On three occasions, I reinstalled Windows 7 three times. Now in addition to my active windows 7, there are three old windows listed on my hard drive with different names. Is it safe to remove these files? Could these be causing future problems?

What names... are you talking about folders? Please be more specific

I should have said folders. They are Windows Old, Windows 000 and Windows 001

Check your drivers

Hi. As Kaktussoft states you can delete them but sometimes it's wise to keep a copy of your windows.old folder on external media as I've sometimes found that reinstalling the correct missing third party drivers after a fresh install of windows 7 can be problematic. If you keep one copy of a windows.old folder it should mean that you've got your drivers available. Personally I prefer to clone the HD to an external drive before reinstalling windows but that's just my preference.
