Does anyone know if it’s worth it to have Microsoft do a onetime servicing on my home PC / Windows 7?

What about software that I can download or buy?

Thanks,

Microsoft does not provide such a service.

This sounds very much like a scam.

There are many websites that claim to represent Microsoft but do not. Their only purpose is to part you from your money. Microsoft or any of it's affiliated organizations will not call to offer such services.

Thanks for writing back. Here’s a quick story why I’m asking… My Zune MP3 player, I’m having trouble downloading the software which is owned by Microsoft will not download onto my PC. It has in the past. I called a tech from Zune / Microsoft to have them help me yesterday, he went and looked into my PC by logging into GuruAid and looked into what could be wrong and gave me this big lecture on what I should and shouldn’t do, etc for about 20 min and said he could help me if I paid to have my PC serviced because I had some files that FAILED to download properly and then he would be able download the software from Zune because my PC was not running properly. Right now, I have no problems with anything but my Zune software.

So what at I’m asking, is there such a thing or is it just a waste of money to have Microsoft go in to my PC and make my PC even better working conditions?
