Onedrive, The Cloud , Confused

After sorting the OneDrive folder I tried the following:

1- Created TrySync folder under C:\Users\Gokhan\Documents
2- Created some subfolders and couple of txt files inside TrySync
3- Created shortcuts for TrySync folder, a txt file and a subfolder on desktop
4- Moved TrySync to under C:\Users\Gokhan\OneDrive
5- Created symbolic link:

C:\Users\Gokhan\Documents>mklink /d TrySync C:\Users\Gokhan\OneDrive\TrySync
symbolic link created for TrySync <<===>> C:\Users\Gokhan\OneDrive\TrySync

6- Checked shortcut path of TrySync folder and it still shows - C:\Users\Gokhan\Documents\TrySync
7- Other shortcuts on desktop work
8- All changes are synced to OneDrive cloud
9- Accessed TrySync from laptop, changed a file, added another file and all synced back to desktop
10- Created a library for TrySync link (C:\Users\Gokhan\Documents) under Documents and all is good.

So, what I proposed on post #11 works. There is only 1 copy in harddisk (OneDrive folder), sync works perfectly and as far as OS is concerned synced folder/files are still in C:\Users\Gokhan\Documents\TrySync
