Solved "Open with" giving grief

Just got back from a fresh install & am having issues with a file with an avs extention. (avisynth)

I want it to 'play' media player & 'open' notepad. I've done it before but this time I can't figure it out.

Both 'open' & 'play' do the same thing, opens media player & begins playing. That's half my issue solved.

If I change 'open' using 'open with' to notepad then both 'open' & 'play' open notepad.

Change 'play' with 'open with' back to media player & both 'open' & 'play' now go with media player.

I want 'play' to use media player & 'open' to use notepad.

Any ideas on how to separate them to open individual programs?
