I have installed a BD-RE (BH16NS55) optical drive. I would like the drive letter (G) to show in Explorer. I have tried various computer configurations, as well as Diskpart and the Registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi. Diskpart put the letter in Explorer but as soon as I rebooted, it was gone. I cannot find any text that says 'Unhide'.

How do I permanently keep the drive letter in Explorer?
