My OS was re-installed recently following a corruption issue. The activation message appeared today asking for the product key. Since the OS was installed by a nearby repair shop, I would have thought they would activate my OS for me.

As such, I don't have the key, and looking at alternate methods of activation hasn't helped. The Microsoft site tells me to 'use automated phone system to activate', but when I click on the 'Activate Windows Now' button, it doesn't give me that option.

I did take a look at you log.
The product key the repair shop used was a Microsoft default key and will never activate.

Home Premium – RHPQ2-RMFJH-74XYM-BH4JX-XM76F

I have no idea why a shop would do that when the proper key is on your Microsoft sticker.
