Have Office 2010.
1) When open Outlook properties to correct my Outlook Icon, "Open File Location" and "Change Icon" are not active. How I can correct it?
2) Can not find "Diagnose" for Outlook 2010
Will appreciate any help.
Best regards

Hello stasioau :D

In answer to your 2nd question. To repair any module of Office:

Repair your Office 2010 programs

Repair your Office 2010 programs by doing the following:

  1. Click Start, then click Control Panel.
  2. Click Programs and Features.
  3. Click the Office 2010 program that you want to repair, then click Change.
  4. Click Repair, then click Continue. You might need to restart your computer after the repair is complete.
Please let us know if that helps, or if you need any further assistance. :)

Thank you Irene.
I did before "Repair" for Office 2010. Was thinking about Diagnose for Outlook only. Anyway, I did "Repair" again a few minutes ago. No results. Outlook properties: "Open file Location" and "Change icon' can not be activated.
All the best.

This is the only diagnostic tool I am aware of:
Change Office Diagnostics settings - Outlook - Office.com

Enable or disable Office Diagnostics on your computer

  1. Click the File tab.
  2. Under Help, click Options.
  3. Click Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings, and then click Privacy Options.
  4. Select or clear the Download a file periodically that helps determine system problems check box.
  5. If you enabled the option, wait about a week to allow the file to be downloaded.

Thanks Irena:
1) I did "Download a file periodically that helps determine system problems" for this computer. Will wait.
Do you have any idea why "Open file Location" and "Change icon" can not be activated in this and second one computers?
2) In second computer, where my wife use Outlook very heavy, "Repair" option does not work at all. I see Outlook screen for two seconds and after it is gone. I repair this second computer using SCANPST.EXE. Unfortunately, looking for text file, lot of item are not solved.
Is it restart Office only solution for this problems?
Best regards
