Outlook 2010 Stop Blinking

I'm coming from years of using Thunderbird and just installed Office Pro.
Every time I launch Outlook the entire program and taskbar icon blink.
Is it possible to stop this?
It has no effect on anything other than I find it utterly annoying.

You might see if using the tutorial below setting it to 1 or 2 may help stop it from blinking so much.
