Overclocking CPU

Have you tried to push it past 3.7 i think ypu should give it a try. If you temps are that low then go for it

@ 20% it fails to boot;
i am worried about the CPU being used from so much for nothing (it jumps from 0-100% 3 times in 1 sec.) :eek:

After rebooting, every thing appears normal now. :geek:

If you have a decent OC don't push it
anymore be satisfied with what you have

I doubt even overclocking that cpu would boost the WEI anyway im pushing close to 4.8ghz and can't get a 7.9

I would call it a day at that point 3.7Ghz is fine

Good advice Solarstarshines. You'll notice little difference in another 100MHz. And you are risking your computer. WEI is not a benchmark anyway, and was never intended to be. Make sure you have good components and never use software to overclock. Understand, when you overclock your CPU, you are also stressing almost every other component in your computer. The best advice I ever had was if you can't afford to replace it, don't overclock it.
