Hey everyone,

I've got a bit of a problem and I'd appreciate any help y'all can give. I upgraded to 7 last night and now on booting up I get the following error:

Run DLL
There was a problem starting P17RunE.dll. The specific module could not be found.

I know that this is from a Creative driver. I was having problems a few weeks ago with my Soundlbaster Audigy, so I pulled it out and swapped to the onboard sound. Apparently I hadn't removed all the drivers. I have done so now. I uninstalled all of the drivers through Creative and then installed guru3d driver sweeper to remove the rest. There is currently nothing left on my computer from Creative yet I still get this error on bootup. I even uninstalled the Realtek drivers for the onboard sound to make sure that there was nothing interfering and am running with the generic windows 7 drivers right now.

So, if anyone has any tips on how to remove this it would be greatly appreciated. Right now this is really slowing down my computer on bootup. Thanks for your time.

Same problem here...just finally got my ATI drivers to work correctly with Windows 7. Now all we have to do is just get rid of this pesky error message...:sarc: And I'm hoping that is all that we have to do... *knocks on wood*
