The one is pretty much for the one computer it verifies the drivers...
But you could try it of course

If you didn't notice you can add reflect recovery option to your boot options so the cd would be a fail safe only
If added to your boot menu you can access the recovery using the F8 key on startup or which ever key gives you your boot menu options.

No problem glad to be of help once in a while

Which either method you used it should be tested just for kicks

I always test going through worst case situations
Enter bios
Insert reflect cd recovery = if your computer will not boot you might only be able to enter the bios
Boot to the cd via however possible every machine is different.

Once you can boot to the recovery media and open it you can connect the external hdd with the system images
You can also create system images using the cd

Thanks for all the info. At least I'm not scared to try stuff. I had been running Linux Mint on this laptop for about 3 months but couldn't run certain programs, so went back to Win 7. Mint had it's advantages. What makes me laugh is that most of my friends and relatives come to me with their computer problems. :huh:

You really won't miss windows imaging at all reflect is the bomb just about everybody here uses it
