partition screen?

Does anyone know of a program that can divide the monitor into sections? I will be using a monitor that is way bigger than I need, and I wonder if I can essentially turn it into 2 monitors.

I just had a brief look at the program link that you posted, so please excuse me if I'm misguided but, if you only need the two screens, would the Aero Snap feature built into W7 do the job?

Not really. My friend suggested that, but I was hoping for something a little more official. See, this computer is a new computer my friend and I were responsible to buy for our church. It will be under the strains of A\V and multi-tasking. I want to have individual compartments for my programs, and not have to worry about what's where.

I hope either WinSplit or GridVista does the job for you then, when you're helping out others you deserve to have everything run smoothly
