partitions not showing up in windows 7

Very strange!! part3 is/was active as well. Later screenshots showed it as inactive. I think part1 is really active... part3/4 is just false information

Do you have a win7 repair disc? win7 install disk?
Are you typing now as well in win7?

Do you have one of those disks? which one?

if partition wizard: Does it see the other partions? used space.. or some sort of error?

No I am using my phone and yes I do have a disk I tried start up repair it failed

When did you do that? I didn't say to do that

Don't enter startup repair but "command prompt" instead

diskpart
list vol

Do you see "system reserved"? And is drive letter C? If so:

sel  vol  C
active

Now it boots fine. But you better check this now as well

det part

i was trying to fix a problem in one of my drives using partition magic 8 that problem is fixed but now that caused the other two drives to not show up in windows. i am attaching a screenshot for the same kindly check and suggest what to do? ? and yes format is not possible these 2 drives got valuable data.

Partition Magic is not compatible with Win7.

I'm sorry for the mess that was created. This should have been simple.

You only needed to rightclick each partition in Disk Mgmt to add a Drive letter. Drive Letter - Add, Change, or Remove in Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums

You could resize any of the partitions safely using free Partition Wizard bootable CD as shown in this video tutorial: Partition Wizard Resize Partition Video Help. If you tell us exactly what size you'd like I will give you the steps to take.

I tried everything but those two partitions are not showing up in windows 7 even after a reinstall and also when I tried with os disc in recovery console as well. It is only showing up in linux live boot CD. So I am backing up the data from these drives and then will do a complete format.

Better to delete the partitions in Disk Mgmt and create new there.
