All the patched Windows 7 installation ISOs I have seen have a different installer that does not include startup repair. This is too important of a tool to be missing.
I tried the steps in the UefiSeven guide to make my original Windows 7 ISO UEFI-compliant but it failed.
How do I access startup repair on a UEFI installation?
