You need to decide which is more important: quieter or cooler.

Cooler usually means louder and higher rpm fans.

It isn't easy to get accurate info on how quiet a fan is--the quoted specs are often exaggerated or meaningless.

I'm not obsessed with low temps and would much prefer quieter to cooler. My CPU temps rarely get above the low 40s, but even if they were constantly at 55, I wouldn't worry about it.

Regardless of which heatsink you choose, you can likely replace the fan at a later date if needed.

will be checking this out and I prefer cooler because i game on it. I just want a fan that is semi quiet and not sounding like a hurricane when booting
