PC very slow on 32Gb RAM

Morning all,

I found myself winning 4 x 8Gb Corsair 1600Mhz sticks, the system happily accepts 2 x 8Gb sticks, but when all four are attached, the PC behaves like it is running out of memory and is incredibly slow.

I have browsed the site for solutions, but to no avail.

Is there a physical cap on memory with win7 (professional x64)

They are all matched, maybe a dodgy stick, i've mem tested two of them, have to try the next two.

Is there anything i have to adjust in windows to run all four, or maybe it's a BIOS thing...

Load bios defaults, then load the SPD or XPS memory profile?

Do you have the pagefile set to it's defaults?
If you do you might be running low on storage space.

Test with all 4 DIMMs installed first, then go to individual DIMMs/slots if any errors.

Your board supports 32 GBs, so that`s not a problem.

Go threw each stick 1 at a time and see if they`re all ok.

If they all check out, put them in and turn off the page file.
