Maybe this is only happening to me, but I will pass along some information just in case.

I was having problems downloading my bank statements (.pdf format) from my banking website. I would click to view the statement, and address bar and progress bar seemed to behave normally, but no statement ever showed up in the window. After making some changes to the security settings, I could finally see the statements, but clicking on the Adobe Reader 9 button seemed to do nothing :sarc:.

I have now found that the files were being stored on my computer, whether or not I used the save button in Reader 9, in a location that is very hard to find which is noted below. Why the statements never became visible in the window, I don't know but maybe it is related to the strange Adobe window that keeps poping up giving no information.

Why I was never given a SAVE AS option to move the files to a folder of my choosing, I also don't know.

I'm having the same problem. I have to boot up Vista every time I need to print a shipping label from usps.

I have been able to get mine to work using one or more of four things, depending on your situation. The two Adobe settings probably need to be done together.

Putting the site in the trusted zone may help.
Disable any anti-virus add-on to IE.
Set Adobe to not display in the browser under Adobe's internet settings
Disable the Adobe helper Add on to IE.

If you are having .js problems and maybe others, use the compatibility mode by clicking on the broken page prior to signing onto the site.

My fallback position right now if something just won't work is Firefox.

I discovered the files in the temporary folders were not there because I saved them but because of normal operations of IE. Something was not letting me view them even though they were downloaded to my computer.
