Permission Problems

Just so you know, its a real easy solution, but we just do not see it.

I am not suggesting this, only a last resort option. I have been hanging with a bad crowd lately, and I think I know what they would recommend: Download and burn a Linux disk, (Ubuntu seems the most popular) boot with the CD/DVD, copy your troublesome files to a folder that you own... Unless you are using some encrypting file system...?
