Hello all,
I see there was an old thread regarding this issue but I am having issues with performance every time I install this update, when I uninstall it the issue goes away. Curious if there is any more information regarding it like a fix or recommendations. From what I understand there is a conflict with certain northbridge chips, video cards, etc. I have a Amd 9370 cpu, asus 990fx rev. 2.o motherboard. To be more specific with the update installed I lose serious frame rates in games and the computer is just noticeably much slower in its response. I have updated all drivers and have the latest bios...at present I am just not installing the update. It would seem to me that this problem hasn't been addressed by Microsoft or the manufacturers. Any Ideas guys and gals?

Let's have a look and see if the file system has problems...

Please follow the Windows Update Posting Instructions and post the requested data

If the file is too large (8MB compressed), remove the older CBSPersist cab files until the final file is below the limit - you can always post them separately after zipping them. (the forum doesn't allow the upload of bare CAB files, for a number of reasons)

Please also post the C:\Windows\windowsudpate.log file
