A couple of weeks ago I purchased an SSD. A 64 GB Kingston V100 in fact.
My previous setup was a WD Caviar Black 750GB 32Mb Cache (OS and progs) and a WD Caviar Blue 640GB 16Mb Cache as a storage drive.
Upon Purchasing my SSD, I had planned to remove the 640Gb and use the 750GB as the new storage drive. The 640GB would thus be used as a spare / emergency drive.
However, Murphy's Law kicked in and the 750GB HDD started acting up. It would not be recognised in Win 7 Pro when awoken from Sleep Mode. I RMA'd the drive back to WD a little over a week ago. I currently using the 640GB as a storage drive with the Kingston SSD.
This afternoon, I got a pleasent suprise! A nice chap from UPS delivered a parcel to my address. WD sent me a Caviar Black 1TB as a replacement! I suppose the 750GB is out of production!!??
That said, Do I install the 1TB Caviar Black or stick with the 640GB Caviar Blue?
