Plugged in not charging

2 days ago my battery stoped charging it says "plugged in not charging" i took the battery out to work with the ac adapter,but my laptop runs very slow now!
could someone help me how to fix this error and make my laptop's performance again fast.

There could be a few reasons for that. The motherboard is broken, the battery is broken, the AC adapter is broken. Contact the manufacture of your laptop.
