Power on but no display problem

Greetings,
So I havent used my HP slimline s5000 desktop for a few months and when i booted it up, i got the Memory beep code. I removed one RAM and the beeps went away, it powers up but no display.
I know that this is a pretty common problem and seem many have this problem and solved it. But I have tried many of the solutions that helped them, but still nothing works.

I have removed all my RAMs and get beep code. So I was told my motherboard is ok
I have removed the Cmos battery for 30mins also reset the jumper. still didnt work
I have reseated all connections. didnt work
I dont have a graphics card that I can remove.
I have tried on two working monitors

I dont have any replaceable like more RAMs or mobos...

Just curious if you have tried connecting an external monitor via the VGA or HDMI output port to HDTV or another monitor... just to see if the graphics chip is rendering.

Also would have suggested the obvious of 'did you check that the monitor was powered on' but since you tried multiple monitors...

I just tried to hook it up to my TV and no display...

That's not looking promising for the graphics chip unless the problem is that the machine isn't booting period, and that's why no display. ? You said you removed one stick of RAM. Are you sure the beep was a RAM code? I know it went away when you removed the stick, but is the machine booting now, and you just don't have a display, or is it possible it's not booting at all, and that's why no more beep and no display??

RAM sticks often have to be in a particular bank and configuration for the machine to successfully boot. For example, in some cases if there is only 1 stick, it might have to be "in bank 1" or whatever. So while it might boot on one stick (depending on how much RAM that one stick is and the machine's specs), it won't boot if it's in the wrong bank. Also when running dual RAM sticks that work in parallel there can be a certain config.

I'd check the manual for the RAM config specs before going further, myself. I'd want to fix the RAM situation to rule it out before focusing on the graphics.

PS I just re-read your OP and see you removed all RAM. I don't know of any machine that will boot without RAM.

Im not completely sure if is turning on, but there is power as all my fans work. I looked up the HP beep code and i was getting 1 short and 1 long beep. on the Hp site says its memory. But I will check the RAM specs and try get my hands on another RAM to check.

I read that if I take all my RAMs out and get a beep code, that I can rule out a bad mobo. granted idk how reliable this information is since it was just a random site. But even with no RAMs all my fans work, but I bet theres a difference between power and actually starting.

This is an old computer and wouldnt be shocked if I needed to replace it, but going to try whatever you guys think needs to be done before window shopping for a new one.

The fans don't need the CPU/Motherboard to turn on... they just need power and are getting that via the PSU/AC.

If the machine is booting you should hear the usual sounds of CMOS beeps, possible port checks (DVD), and the hard drive spinning up.... if there is a hard drive indicator light it should also be blinking and flashing as the machine boots.

If there is no sound but the fans, it is not booting. But if there is no RAM, it can't boot.

That may be true, but if so, getting a beep code with no RAM is a way to check that the MB is good... you still have to put the RAM back in to actually BOOT it.

Yup. Listen for hard drive spin up... listen for CMOS beeps... and it has to have enough RAM to boot whatever OS is on there; has to be the correct RAM, and has to be in the correct banks.

Well you can't know how well it's running until you eliminate RAM as the possible problem. And if the RAM you have is giving beep errors, then new RAM might be more than you want to invest to see if it will even work.But RAM might indeed be all it needs. Impossible to say without trying.
