print spooler/ remote procedure
hi i have a brother HL-2140 laser printer and a brother MFC 425 - CN multi function centre connected to this win7 laptop.
i have got all working again with my XP laptop but cannot get them working with the win7 machine.
what i want to do with the printers is to get them to print, and no wi fi at all involved.
i would stress that both printed fine up until a couple of months ago ( so i cannot do a system restore )then they just disappeared, this has not been a major problem to me as i have others computers / printers i can us.
i have the disc for the HL-2140 plus i have also used the downloads from the official brother.com.au web site.
i believe that there is a problem with the "instal ", when it is about half way through i get the message "invalid arguments ", this never popped up previously when i was downloading.
i have managed to get the settings from another source, printed them off set and them to exactly as per these instructions, i am certain that there is nothing wrong with my settings, thanks for your input, palindon
