Solved Problem running ALL games with DirectX 10-11

Thats great!

It's good to know that increasing the voltage slightly helped with the stability and allowed Unigine to actually run without exiting with that D3D11 error message!

From what i can see on your GPUz stats while running the game everything looks normal (your clocks (slightly over the default), gpu usage and temperatures)... but the VDDC looks suspiciously low at 0.99 volts, just a heads up, you need to keep Afterburner switched on at all times whilist playing your games, or else the new voltage settings/clocks will not hold...

Keep on testing with more DX10/11 games with the same increased voltage and keep them running longer (1 - 2 hours at least), but don't touch the clocks on Afterburner yet... hope this fix will work for your in the longer term...

If the games blacken/crash out again, increase voltage a little bit more and try again for the same amount of time, repeat until it's complete rock solid stable...

Keep us updated!

EDIT:- A PSU rated at 700W Gold should be sufficient for your rig.. so worries there

Okay,Unigine Heaven has been running perfectly for 30 minutes now (yay this is my longest record :D)

Um,what is VDDC and if it so low then what should I do?
And what do you mean by "keep Afterburner switched on" ?
Do I have to run it and then minimize it everytime I want to play?

Okay then,I won't touch the clocks on Afterburner.

P.S: Do you mean I have to worry about my PSU or else? Because you typed "so worries there"?

I meant no worries, it was a mistype =), Don't worry about the PSU!

VDDC is just basically your core voltage that you've selected in MSI Afterburner...

What i mean by keeping Afterburner on is that once you've started the program and increased your voltage, do not close it until you're done playing your game or running the benchmarks... just minimize it...

I'm at Core Voltage 1058 mV now,but still not stable.
I'm just curious.. What if I keep doing this until I reach max Core Voltage but still not having a stable system?

but don't touch the clocks on Afterburner yet... hope this fix will work for your in the longer term...
So when do I have to change the clocks value on Afterburner?

And basically I can't uninstall Afterburner and must run it in the background if I want to play games am I right?

Dear oh dear, did it crash again? How long did Unigine last this time before crashing? How about your other games?

If you reach the max Core Voltage and its unstable, you then have to reduce the clocks too until stability is reached. I think you can try up to around 1100 - 1200 mV, do it in small increments though

You can change the clocks now if you want... reduce them by 100MHz as a test if you wish...

And yes you can't uninstall Afterburner, you have to run it in the background.. It's a very useful monitoring and clocking tool to have anyway! =)

If all is done and exhausted, you may have to look into RMAing (send back to manufacturer) your GPU for a new one if it's still under warranty =(, or if you can find a spare GPU lying around try and test it on your system...

Unigine seems working perfectly but I'm playing Max Payne 3 at DX 11 right now and it's still unstable.
Now I'm at 1063 mV.

If I reduce the clocks,do I have to reduce Core Voltage too?

Yep fortunately it's still under warranty but I don't have any other Graphics Card right now but I'm going to test using a different one as soon as I get one.

Nope... you can keep the Core Voltage the same (or increase it)..

The idea here is to find the correct combination of Core Voltage and clocks that would hold up nicely when running a game.... some cards require a higher voltage to maintain stability at the same clocks.. it varies from card to card..

What happens is that in most (90%) cases the manufacturer's prefined set of voltages implemented in the card is sufficient, but in the case of your card, it does not seem to be the case.

@solarmystic

Thank you for all of your patience and solutions. From now on I'm going to mark this thread as solved :)
I'm still searching for the perfect combination of Core Voltage and Clocks though..but now I understand the root of this problem.
Once again, thank you very much :).
