Problem streaming videos

My internet connection is fine, browsing the net at optimal speeds, i can stream audio with no interruptions, but i cannot stream videos, it's faster for me to download the video than to just stream it on for example youtube. I have installed the latest adobe flash player, installed the latest drivers for my graphics card, ran spyware, adware, malware scans, found 5 adware threats which have been fixed and deleted, there are no abnormal processes occuring when i attempt to stream a video. Does anyone have any idea or advice for what is going wrong with my computer, or what i can do

Does this occur on all streaming websites or just some? It could be a low bandwidth issue on the website's part.

Have you tried streaming the video via a different web browser?

Close all unnecessary applications when streaming video.

no it occurs on all websites, for video only tho, i can stream audio no problem, and it doesn't occur all the time, sometimes the video will load in seconds and other times it won't load at all ( with teh same video)
