Problem with Gameguard, please help =)

I found working solution for Aion + GameGuard and Win7RC x32. Just dovnload aion_winmm.rar from site Aion stuff, by Fyyre. Follow instructions - copy files to game directory, run exe file and restart system (you really must reboot!!). Works fine for me and it is only working solution now on my PC.

Well I've stated this once before and I'll state it again
Gameguard ITSELF works with Windows 7
HOWEVER the issue lies not with Gameguard but the games that utilize it
Once they use the recent files of Gameguard in their games you can play that game on Win7 with Gameguard as it'll autoupdate everything again then.

I have replaced the original gameguard.des file with the one from crossfire, but still everytime i try to launch soldierfront, i get the blue screen of death and a memory dump error :( help would be apreciated

Solution I posted here just disables GameGuard, so doesn't matter game, autoupdates etc. It is disabled :-) No BSOD, all works fine.

Different error

OK... So I've tried something knew with the Gameguard.des fix for Windows 7 x86 32bit. I play Gunz, and they use a launcher every time i replaced the Gameguard.des it would re-patch it back to the old one... So, after it patched and the "Start Game" icon was clickable I replaced it in hopes that it would'nt re-patch. Turns out it didn't, and in fact it starting patching Gameguard instead of rolling into the Gameguard 0 error immediately. After it was done patching it Got into the game... but some other error popped up, of which I've never seen before.. http://files.getdropbox.com/u/24694/GGerr.jpg Shows the error, my Windows 7 build, and that i was ingame at one point.... Does anyone know what may be causing this ~_~

I should perhaps be thankful that Nexon ditched GameGuard long ago for Hackshield. I've not had any problems. You might need to wait for an official gameGuard update, but they seem to actually update their program 3 times a year.

On a side note, I'm not yet convinced that compatibility mode does a damned thing. It's never worked for me.

  1. Install whatever game you want.
  2. Install the game Crossfire.
  3. Delete the GameGuard.des file from your game which is not working properly.
  4. Replace it with the GameGuard.des file installed with Crossfire.
  5. Run your game and it should work fine. :D
  6. Remove Crossfire if you do not want it wasting space.[/QUOTE
that is funny, because Crossfire is the game that isn't working for me. I'll try to use it, it almost loads and then i either get a BOSD or a link that opens this pagenProtect Gameguard FAQ
