Problem with Gameguard, please help =)

I'm getting some error from gameguard, when i try to play gunbound.

Already tried to change the compatibility to Vista/XPSP2 and run it as administrator, nothing worked, any suggestions?

Have you tried contacting Gunbound tech support with that error code as shown in your image?

Not yet, their support is so slow :\ i've already tried to do averything and nothing works :T ps: build 7000

Wait - when you id the install, did you run the install with compatibility turned on? That might solve your problems - uninstall GB, reboot, then install with compatibility - that might get the gameguard working....

Yes, i installed it with the compatibility, the problem is : Gunbound is running fine (i guess), the only thing that doesn't work is the gameguard (but i don't know if the entire gameguard or only it's updater), because when you launch gunbound, the problem says that it's impossible to reach the update center, "please retry".

Have you checked to see if hte firewall is simply not allowing Gg to go through?

i did try to play cabal w/c has a gameguard engine... still wont work with W7...

i did do what uve sed jhongalt but nothing works.. did check the UAC and firewall... no antivirus installed just Cabal online and WIn7...

Take a look at NProtect GameGuard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia - of note is the blocked applications, and also the fact that it installs a driver. I bet W7 is blocking the driver - take a look in device manager to see if anything is not working....

This may be an issue same as Daemon Toolz, where the low level driver simply does not work with W7 yet....

so that means, there is no possible fix yet?

gg has many games worldwide.. many gamers will experience this problem running in windows 7..

FWIW, though....NProtect GameGuard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia sheds some serious light on possible problems as well...

I mean, Razer drivers? A squared? AVG?

Kinda stupid. If you read the entire wiki you'll see that it accomplishes this through rootkit-like actions- so I am keeping this Wiki handy to make sure I never play those games....

Ye when i tested it the firewall was disabled :/ so it's not firewall's error :/

Same thing, I'm trying to play Drift City which is also ijji and it won't work for me either. I did send the .erl files to the email that poppped up and mentioned windows 7

i love win7 features but i cant play my game... was forced to downgrade to win vista..

lol - I'd never let a game dictate what OS I am going to use....

I think quite the opposite - my OS dictates the games I play....

Then again, I play less and do other things more, so....

just because i play cabalph most of the time.. 12-16 hours straight a day.. by using bot makes my char do what i want to do by himself. and im earning real money on my game so.. i was forced to downgrade.. ope u understand.. im a gamer lover -boi...

Is this issue already fixed? I did the downgrade too, but i really want to use w7 again, but without my game, no chances :T

This is a pretty major issue, I hope it's fixed soon. I've got Everquest II, my game of choice, working on 7 but I'd like to be able to play these little free games with my family too.
