Problem with LAN and LAN internet sharing.

Hi guys.I have some problems with LAN on two PCs with Windows 7.
Host PC - windows 7 professional x86
laptop - windows 7 ultimate x64
On my HOST pc I have two network cards,on one i have internet connection(cable) ,with second I'm in LAN with other PC.
I configured IPs,i configured ANSharing,i put both pcs on same workgroup etc.
Problem is that sometimes LAN and internet on other pc WORKS,but sometimes and most of the time it doesnt.
When it doesnt i can see pc in LAN,but i cannot access...
I tried everything...and it didnt help.
In connection properties on HOST pc IP is 192.168.137.1
On other its automaticaly and DNS server is the public one 4.2.2.2.
When im trying to troubleshot problem,sometimes it says DHCP is not enabled,sometimes that modem isnt connected etc etc..

Can u tell me some of urs solutions pls?

Do you use a switch or a hub for your LAN...

Or do you let your laptop use your internet connection on your HOSTpc...

Yes i shared internet connection.
As i said i have two lan cards on my pc.
One is connected with cable modem,other is connected with laptop.
When my pc is power on,laptop has internet.
That worked fine with other pc two months ago.But then roommate bought new laptop and sold old pc.And now with that laptop i have these problems i've explained.
Sometimes internet and lan works,but sometimes just stops...Every half an hour.

Can you take a screen shot of your network configurations using cmd and utitlity ipconfig/all on your HOSTpc.

If possible take a screen shot of the same thing from your laptop, take the image on a flash drive, upload to HOSTpc and post here.

I uploaded here u can see,host SS is ipconfig.jpg,other SS is from client laptop.
I can see that my host pc is acting liitle strange...i think this ipconfig wasnt before that laptop..im confused ..:/

Can you post your HOSTpc config again, some info is missing from the top.

Such as IPconfig and Ethernet adapter LAN config.

your client one is fine.

If you can setup you DNS server in your laptop to 192.168.137.1

Test connectivity.

Try to ping your HOSTpc at 192.168.137.1

I tested,pinging works.
Internet not working full,skype works,but web browsing not ...

can you post a new screenshot on your client...

Are you able to access files from your HOST pc...

Also can you give me an indication as to what you mean the internet is not working fully...

When i go into web browser like mozilla or IE internet doesn't work,but skype is working,and msn messenger also.
I can access files on host.

Can you confirm that your IP addressing is as so...

I want you to try using DHCP on your client computer. So goto your client adapter configurations and obtain all your IP addressing automatically.

Once this is enabled try ping google.com

If this fails revert to the IP addressing that i just given you and ping google.com again.

If this fails then i will send you through an .html file for you to open locally on your client computer, to determine if this a connectivity or winsock issue...

If you can get online with some programs but the browsers aren't working it's usually a problem with the TCP/ip stack or winsock.

Try running this batch file which will reset winsock, reset the TCP/IP stack and release renew your IP.

As for the ICS problem, in general Win7 likes to used bridged connections for this.

You can greatly improve and simplity this entire operation by getting a router.

Ok guys,i put DHCP(all IP automaticaly) nothing changes,again i can ping 197.168.187.1 ,but when i ping google.com its says cannot find the host google.com.
I started batch file that u gave me,nothing changes,all is the same.
I tried with Ip adressing u gave me and again nothing changes.
As i see,situtation is like this:

All of the solutions is working in some way - i have internet and i can access files on my pc FOR A BRIEF PERIOD OF TIME.
After that yellow notification is on my lan connection saying no internet access,but SKYPE is working,pinging 197.168.137.1 is working,i can see other pc in LAN but i CAN'T access the files.
When i put alternate DNS server 8.8.8.8 again it is the same.I know that this dns server helped me a lot last time with other pc.When i put it,internet starts functioning,but now nothing.
I hope i explained properly.

Edit: Laptop model is DELL INSPIRON N5010 if this helps.
