I'm using Win7 and IE8. I use MSN as my home page. When I open my browser it opens MSN but I am not signed in. I click to sign in and enter my password and it responds that it is an incorrect password. I then enter the password again and it logs me in. Two questions:

1. Why does it not accept the password on the first attempt, but always does on the second attempt?

2. Is there a way to auto login to MSN?

Is IE8 set to accept cookies?

BCXtreme, it is not so I went into "Per site privacy options" and added live.com (which is where you login to msn) to the "Always allow cookies" site list. Working now. Thanks for the tip.

Here's an update in case anyone else has this problem. BCXtreme's "allow cookies" mostly fixed the problem. I only occasionally now am presented with the login screen. When I am, I still have to login twice. I don't have this problem with any other site.

One thing that will ALWAYS trigger the presentation of the login screen - if my computer locks up while using IE8 and I have to reboot.
