Problems with network at start up

Hey,

I have Windows 7 ultimate on my computer. Everything worked fine but now I have a really annoying problem. I did not change anything and did not install anything new. The problem is that when windows starts to load all the programs at startup and starts to log in into the network it just wont happen and thanks to this I cannot run most of the programs. I've tried to wait for hoping it will finish it's login or something but nothing. I have the "I'm working" circle on the network icon. I cannot even open network and sharing center.

I have a Linksys wrt54g router and using fix ip on the integrated Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000Base-T Controller. In the even view the only error I can see is Event ID 7000 on startups. The TBPanel service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified. I'm also using Netlimiter 3 but the uninstall did not solve the problem.

The only thing that works sometimes is to keep restarting my comp and then sometimes the network works. If I pull out the cable from the router and start my computer without it being connected back to the network gives more succes with the startups but it is not working everytime either and I dont accept it as a proper solution

So if u have any thoughts pls let me know. Thanks

Assign the machine a permanent static ip address. Local area connection status, properties, double click tcp/ipv4 line.

Try reinstalling your drivers.

A few days ago I did an upgraded from Vista to Windows 7, and am having a problem connecting to the internet. Like you, messing with my cable modem, router, and updating my device driver did not fix the problem.

However, I have a temporary work-around that is working for me. I disable/enable my "Local Area Connection" under

Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings

To do this I right-click on the "Local Area Connection", selecting "disable". When that finishes I right-click "enable" it. After doing this look for the "Local Area Connection" "Access type" to change to "Internet". This is seen under

Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center
