Programs minimize by them selfs.

nope AVG temp fix did not work for me

AVG is the worst app on the net and I'm not kidding.

Completely uninstall it and test. Disabling will have no effect.

genious. it makes sense considering that i upgraded to avg 9.0 and windows 7 at the same time. since i was looking at windows 7 problems and not avg this must be it. it all of a sudden started working a few days ago but yes that must be a solution:PP

hi all, i dont know if it will help but im running windows vista home 64 bit with avg pro. my comp came with both and i have had it for 13 months now. i have the same problem with windows minimizing by themselves, but it only started in the last 3 months. it did not do it in the first 10 months, and somtimes after i reboot it wont start doing it right away, but it always starts again. maybe it is caused by a recent avg update?

I don't have AVG installed, and it's happening anyway since I bought a new computer in January 2011. It has to be a Windows 7 problem. If I could go back to XP I would. If MS is going to "upgrade" and operating system, why can't they keep the good parts of the previous system?
