I find that when I right click my Word icon and my Windows Explorer icon on my Task Bar/Quick Launch Bar I see one or more pinned folders at the top and 'frequent or recent' folders listed below. Frequent seems to apply to Windows Explorer and Recent seems to be the term for Work, Excel, etc.
I no longer remember how I pinned the folders I now find. They are 'out of date' and it would be helpful to change them to make this feature work more effectively for me.
I don't want to learn about this by empirical experimentation if I can avoid it. Sometimes that just digs deeper holes that are harder to climb out of.
How do I change the folders that are pinned to the list?
Is 'pinned to list' the 'same as' 'pin to taskbar?'
I see I can that if I right click on the pinned folder, one option is to delete it. Is there an option to replace it with a more up-to-date one?
I tried searching this in Google and find I don't have the terminology down to distinguish 'taskbar' from 'start menu' if they are really different in this case.
thanks
