Is there any point for me to install 64-bit Windows 7 instead of 32-bit Windows 7 given my circumstances?

I have a 64-bit processor (AMD Athlon X2 4200+, 2.2 Ghz).
But the thing is, I only have one gig of ram, and I have no intentions of ever (on this computer anyway) upgrading to more than 3.5 gigs of ram.

So would I really benefit with the 64-bit Windows if I'm not even going to have that much ram on this computer? I don't do heavy image editing or video encoding.

Would it really be detrimental to just stay with 32-bit Windows for me? I don't like having to have two different folders of Program Files. I had tried 64-bit Windows Vista, but couldn't notice any difference.

Windows 7, of course.
No, there's no point.

No, there's no benefit without the ram and workload.

No, there's nothing wrong with staying with 32bit.

Like maddog said, there will be no benefit for you because of your lack of RAM. 32bit handles less ram better, while 64 can detect more then 4 gigs and makes good use of it. There are other benefits but with your amount of ram you will not see them.
