Is there anybody on here that has a Toshiba laptop that knows if the Toshiba Service Station is an important utility to keep because everytime I start my computer the program comes up and prompts me for a software update for Internet Explorer, so any feedback about this program is appreciated

I've seen it and think it merely duplicates what Windows Updates can do for Windows. It may help with the other programs bundled with the computer. My wife has a Toshiba from Sept. but she hasn't had a need for the program.

I came into possession of a Satellite L655 that is just over 4 years old with a failed HDD but I put in a used HDD and installed Win10TB, works very good. Only had to download the Win8/8.1 Video driver to get better than 1024x768 resolution.

You can try to disable it at startup with msconfig it won't uninstall the program but it will stop it at startup. To go there type in the start menu search bar msconfig when it loads go to startup programs and look for toshiba
