A couple of thoughts:
1) Are you running at the native resolution of the TV?
2) Do you have Clear Type turned on? Type 'clear type' into the help and support window for info.
James
1.) AM not sure exactly what you mean. I have the recommended resolution on yes, Other than that I am not sure what you mean exactly
2.) Yes, That what I meant when you turn it on it asks you 4 times to pick one paragraph out of multiple ones. Maybe I just picked the wrong ones so it set it to the wrong settings? I did try it 2 or 3 times.
What I would do is instead of run the TV at what the TV manufacturer says to do when used as a computer monitor, adjust the resolution down to 720p (if it's not 1080p) and see how that works.
When I hooked my TV up via HDMI the first time, it wanted to do 1360x768. I switched to 1280x720 and boom, a FANTASTIC picture.
