You can try the Albanian keyboard under English (United Kingdom). This keyboard will give you QWERTZ keys in the top row.

The easiest way to check the right keyboard for you is to go to Control Panel, open "Region and Language" applet, go to "Keyboards and Languages", click on "Change Keyboards" button.

In the General tab, click on Add button, scroll down to English (UK) expand the selection by clicking on the plus sign, expand keyboards, then put a check mark on "Show more...". This will expand to more keyboards.

Here you may select "Albanian" and then click on the "Preview" button. This will show you the layout of the keyboard.

If this is what you wanted, press "OK" button and close the applet. If not you can try other keyboards one after the other and checking the preview of keyboard layouts until you find the most suitable one.

As you have just found out, it is not as simple as changing the language of a keyboard since although this may give you the QUERTZ instead of QWERTY you want, the other keys will display non-english characters since it is based on a keyboard LAYOUT and the alphabet of that country. You could, of course use the ascii codes for the Z in place of the Y but this would involve holding down the Alt key and typing in the cooresponding ascii numeric number for the z or Z which would not be ideal.

I think you can assign keys to certain letters, I just can't remember how to do it !!!

Perhaps someone else can remind me if this is possible.
