I know this might be a dumb ? but why is it that I can restart my computer, have used 1bout 22% of my ram, put the computer to sleep for a short time, wake it, and have 18% or so of ram used after waking up? Just curious.....:sarc:

Hello wheresjerry,

This is normal. It just depends on what has been loaded to memory by "Superfetch" or any running program at the time. :)

kind of what i fugured, but just thought after I woke from sleep, what was running/using ram, would pick up where it left off, not dump ram useage....if that makes sense.....

This varies and changes so much depending on current activity that it probably changed as soon as woke back up from sleep. Everything needed would had still been in memory though when the computer woke up.
