I recently bought 2x1GB Ram Sticks for a Dell DimensionE510

It has a Pentium4 2.80Gh Processor
and factory 1 GB RAM
It's currently running Windows 7 x64

When I put the new RAM sticks in the system recognizes the new memory says it has 3.0 GB of ram and runs until I start actually using to new memory, as in start running more programs simultaneously and it crashes and I get two BSOD*. As far as I know the sticks match the motherboard, as in that's what I was told.

*"Memory Management" and "PFN List Corrupt"

As far as I understand it is a driver issue, but I honestly am not sure.

I didn't know if the motherboard didn't like the varied RAM sticks, so I just put the 2x1GB ram sticks in and it was still very unstable.

System is stable with 2x512MB RAM sticks.

Corrupted Ram Stick was causing all the BSOD, but there is still the Floppy Error.

If the system has a floppy disk, make sure it's cables are connected securely to the drive and the motherboard. If not, check your BIOS to see if the setting to enable a floppy drive is on...or the system is set to boot from a floppy drive.

Not a driver issue, more likely a ram mis-match issue. Ram, even exactly the same make and model, can lead to instability if not purchased at the same time, in the same package.

It turns out the second RAM stick was corrupt, and the floppy disk error was fixed in the BIOS menu. Thanks!
