Random BSOD - Mostly when working with windows explorer

Hey!

For years I never had blue screen problems and I don't know how to handle them by myself. So I hope you can help me

I checked the "BSOD - Posting Instructions" but there is no hint what type of dump I should create?

So for now, I just have created the SF Debug Tool zip. Hope that is what you need.

The BSOD's occur randomly, but most of the struggle I have when working with windows explorer. I had problems installing windows when installing the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Drivers. I think my Crucial M500 SSD don't like them and I got the BSOD everytime when windows starts. So I drop the installing of the RST driver and after I had no BSOD after restart. But now they occur random. Yesterday for example after plugging in a USB drive.

I don't know where to start looking.

Welcome to W7F

In your computer, go to C:\Windows\Minidump
Inside this directory will be the files we need.
Make a zip file of any .dmp file with a current date.
I say current date, because since you didn't know about the location you might have older dmp files that won't pertain to your current issue.

I think we got a break. All four file point to a disk drive.
According to your System Specs you have a Crucial M500 120GB Samsung 2TB.
Do you have any other hard drives connected to this computer?
If not, then you need a Crucial drive diagnostic tool.

Those both drives are internal drives. Also I have a 340GB external drive and a 16GB USB Drive.

But I think the Diagnostic Tool is good start. I will have a look.

Okay, I saw that I haven't the latest BIOS update. So I updated the BIOS and hope that helps with the BSODs.
But now at a restart there is a message that the boot device is inaccessable. But if I say continue, windows is starting.

Andy Ideas? Should I do the windows repair process?

Edit: There is no Crucial Diagnostic Tool. But the latest Crucial Firmware Update is installed.
