A stop 9x124 is usually a hardware error.
If the laptop is within warranty (it should be, as it appears), ask for hardware tests and replacement. Otherwise follow it: http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...top-0x124-what-means-what-try.html#post354696. Be aware that some of the tests may cause a warranty violation. So better you take the warranty way at first.
