Solved Random BSOD.

This is my third BSOD in the last 6 months. My computer just randomly shut down, and there's nothing in the event log that shows anything.

Each time the BSOD just happens randomly. Twice while playing a video game, once while just browsing the internet.

I've attached my dump log, I couldn't figure out how to read it on my own so I was hoping for the help of the forums. I don't want to be doing anything damaging to my computer by not handling it.

I tried running the data collection tool, but it just opened and closed immediately. So I've simply attached the .dmp file.

I'll try to help you but I am going to need the BSOD posting instructions, to be able to help much. I am also gong to need a detailed list of all of your system specs with Manufacturer and model, including the PSU and the CPU Cooler.

You had one dump file. I don't believe I have ever seen one dump file with as many causes listed as yours. These are the causes listed. To save space I just listed them all together.

LEqdUsb is the Logitech SetPoint Unifying KMDF USB Filter

LMouFilt.Sys is the Logitech SetPoint HID Filter Driver

LHidFilt.sys is the Logitech SetPoint HID Filter Driver

e1d62x64 is your Intel Gigabit Adapter NDIS 6.x driver

RiftEnabler is the RiftEnabled driver which is most likely from one of your games

iusb3xhc is your Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver

The Logitech software should be easy enough to update from the Logitech web site,

The Intel Gigabit adapter and the USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver should be able to be updated from your Motherboard's web site

Please update those, then open an elevated command prompt ( click start, type cmd in the search box, right click on the cmd entry and select run as administrator) in the black box that opens, copy/paste sfc /scannow. If you decide to type it, notice the space between the sfc and the /. It is a system file checker which will scan your system files and attempt to correct any missing or corrupt files. What we want are the results to say windows found no integrity violations. If it says files were found but could not be repaired, close the box, reboot and run it again, after opening the administrative command prompt. You may have to reboot and run it three times for it to repair all system files. If it can't repair them after 3 reboots, let us know.

Alright, I updated my system specs, updated the drivers mentioned, and ran the integrity check tool (it found no violations the first time.)

I'm trying to run the DM log collector tool from the BSOD posting instructions, it opens up the command prompt saying it may take a while and to press any key to continue, when I press a key a bunch of text pops up then it closes in a couple seconds. I'm not sure what to do about that, any ideas?

Does a file appear on your Desktop? When I run it on my system it takes about 45 seconds to a minute to run. It will place the results on your desktop. If you have moved your Desktop to a Data drive/partition on another disk, it will be on a separate desktop in your user files. Click on start, go up to your user name in the top right and click on that. See if you have 2 user folders named Desktop. It will be on one of them.

Nope, I checked and there's only one desktop. And there's no file there

I would recommend you back up your personal files to an external source, preferably an external hard drive. Also, please click the start button, type msinfo32 in the search box and click on the top msinfo32 that appears. It should look like a computer monitor. Once opened, click file>export (make sure the file type in the save screen is NFO. Save it to your Desktop and right click it, select send to and select compressed zip folder then upload it with your next post.

Also, click start, right click computer, select properties and post a screenshot of the whole screen.

I do a weekly backup of my files to an external harddrive, so I should be fine. I've attached that file in an rar. Thank you for the help so far!

Just to start. I don't know exactly what versions you have installed, but uninstall the program from Unity and BTWDownload. You are getting a lot of errors from them.

That is the second time RiftEnabler has shown up as a cause in a dump file. Uninstall it.

One caused the other most likely. I would suspect RiftEnabler.

So after uninstalling RiftEnabler I haven't had blue screens in quite a while. However just now I had another out of nowhere, I'm not sure what would have caused it.
