"Random" BSODS after installing new GFX related to ntoskrnl.exe

Hello,

Earlier this week i installed a new graphics card (ASUS GTX 560 Ti) and 4GB new memory. Every day since that i have been getting what appears to me to be random BSODS. They all seem to somehow related to ntoskrnl.exe though, but the crash messages are new everytime.

I've ran memtest to exclude my new memory but it definitely has something to do with the new gfx card. Yesterday i saw there was new drivers released for them wich i upgraded too, after that (yesterday) i have only had Windows explorer crashing. What also seems to point to the card is that the computer ran fine i safe mode for 13 hours straight.

I uninstalled the card before removing the old one and did a clean install for the new drivers. I previously used Driver Cleaner Pro, but that software seems to 9.99$ now, remembering it being free earlier?

Runnig W7 X64 Ultimate retail and about two years since install, no re-installs since.

Thanks in advance

ASACPI.sys the 2005 version is a huge cause of BSODs

Please visit this link: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download P7P55D LE
Scroll down to the Utilities category, then scroll down to the "
ATK0110 driver for WindowsXP/Vista/Windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).
Download and install it.
Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers to check and make sure that the ASACPI.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (NOT 2005)

Code:
ASACPI.sys fffff880`10bf3000 fffff880`10bfb000 0x00008000 0x42476c4c 28/03/2005 06:30:36
Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads
You can use MagicDisc as an alternative.
Code:
sptd.sys fffff880`0106e000 fffff880`01194000 0x00126000 0x4ad24632 12/10/2009 00:55:14
You can test your Graphics Card with OCCT
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/160729-nvidia-video-card-test-occt.html

What were the results of Memtest? You should run it for at least 7 Passes

Thank you for your quick reply. I proceeded as suggested and updated the asus driver, removed daemon tools and after that used the sptd uninstaller, however i accidently clicked update instead of uninstall so i hade to reboot and then uninstall.

As soons i had done that i was prompted to reboot, the second i hit the restart button i instantly got a new bsod. I ran the memtest once (i think) i let it run for about 1h20m or so, it stated it was completed and that it had stopped. But just one pass if i recall correctly.

So, for a complete and accurate memtest i should do that same test six more times in a row? As for the GPU stresstest, i will repost once ive run it for an hour. Meanwhile im attaching the latest bsod.

Thanks for your help!

Seems that sptd.sys was the cause, re-run the sptd uninstaller to remove sptd.sys

Yes you should do 6-7 Passes

Please post a complete attachment, the txt files does not contain any practical information

Stress completed, reported no errors. Never done that before, it felt more stressing for me to hear those fans run at such high speed... Dont think the results are intresting but i'll post them here as well.

On top of this, im experiencing performance issues. I cant run youtube videos in full screen mode, well i can but they run in 10 fps tops. This was never an issue before.

Will do, but why is this happening you think? Never had any issues before, well had problems with nod32 but once I got rid of that everything went back to normal.

The RAM might be the cause, I'd recommend resetting the RAM settings such as the timings/voltages to 'Auto' or 'Default' in your BIOS.
Are you overclocking?

Well, RAM seems to be ok. Ran seven passes with no errors. However, after running the driver verifier you suggested i wasnt even able to boot. I got a BSOD booting and was stuck in an infinate loop. Are theese BSODs logged somewhere so that I can show them? I disabled the verifier and im now back to "regular". Normally, id just do a fresh install of Windows since im quite sure that would do the trick, but when installing the new gfx card and memory i must have disconnected the dvd drive since its no longer recgnozied in windows or seem to be given any power. Im just looking for a solution but it seems that a fresh install is some what unavoidable.

Still related to Memory Management, the fault may be incorrect RAM/timings.
Your problem is definitively hardware related

Okey, how do you suggest i proceed now? I need to identify wich hardware is failing on me before sending in a RMA to my retailer. I ran the memtest for 8+ hours with 7 passes and no errors and stresstested my gfx card for one hour and nothing there either...

You may send your PC to the retailer for hardware checks

Not all hardware defects can be detected using software, we are limited to CPU/RAM/GPU/PSU testing only. Other hardware should be tested manually

Thats all the hardware tests we have
Cpu Stress Test Prime95
Ram Test Memtest86
Nvidia Video Card Test OCCT
Video Card Stress Test Furmark
Seagate Hard Disk Check

Latest dumps do not indicate any specific cause
