Hi there John .. Reading the Post at the bottom of the page in your second Link .. Would kind of put me of trying that Software ... Have tried to read reviews about the Product can not find that many .. Though did find a few that said it was crap ..

I would personally steer clear of this particular option, due to the stated worries of others.

In the end, most ransomware and other social engineering will not get onto a system if that system is suitably protected

Rigorously follow a backup regime, to protect your data, this is the important stuff that often cannot be replaced, and the lever that ransomware uses - the rest can be reinstalled - from a system image if available, longhand from original media if not.
Follow safe web practice, install your choice of multi-layer Anti Malware system and firewall, make sure the firewall on the router is also active, and you should be safe.

In the event of a disaster, and you are infected, a system re-install from backups can take less time than faffing about removing the infection.

Sorry late reply have been away yep I did see after the initial post an yep I have a regular set weekly backup in place.

MJF do you mean the router stuff as mine is protected by the SSID and WPA2-PSK mentioned here that is how my TP-Link is set.

Yes I follow these guidelines. I guess it is the terminology "firewall on the router is also active" that threw me.
