rd /s /q F:\$Recycle.bin access is denied

hi, i have the corrupted recycle bin problem so i did the trick posted at the topic but

i get the error:
C:\Users\Kubbur>rd /s /q F:\$Recycle.bin
F:\$Recycle.bin\S-1-5-20\desktop.ini - Access is denied.
F:\$Recycle.bin\S-1-5-~1\desktop.ini - Access is denied.
F:\$Recycle.bin\S-1-5-~3\desktop.ini - Access is denied.
F:\$Recycle.bin\S-1-5-~2\$IGANBZW.txt - Access is denied.
F:\$Recycle.bin\S-1-5-~2\$RGANBZW.txt - Access is denied.
F:\$Recycle.bin\S-1-5-~2\desktop.ini - Access is denied.

i went to folder options and checked to see hidden objects and i cant find the recycle bin folder at the root of disk F(or any disks for that matter)

i have been having strange problems with permissions that i thought i fixed by putting a check to "replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" but since i get access is denied by using this command in the title i just dont know what to do
btw im using win 7 build 7100 x64, updates are up to date, if u need any more info just ask

Try taking ownership of the .ini files

At some point you have to start thinking is it worth it to keep finding these quirks, or is it easier just to re-install clean. Im assuming you dont have a backup to restore, have tried a sfc /scannow , and a repair install

it has nothing to do with the install, disk F is a datadisk, disc C is the primary disk, and its only the recycle bin at disk F that is corrupted, i have 2 other disks beside these 2 and they are okay, i just found out that disk F has the primary partition written in a dinamic format, but all the other ones are just standard partitions

im going to try that now

I just fixed this problem myself

2 easy fixes

On the server where the user files are located you must make sure they have the correct permissions on the directories where the recycle bin files are located.

Windows 7 - Vista creates these 3 folders on Home Network drives when the user logs in to the network for the first time.
My Music
My Pictures
My Videos

Right click My Music folder > Select Properties > Select Security tab > Select advanced > Select change permissions > Put check marks in
Include Inheritable permissions from this objects parent
Replace all child permissions with inheritable permissions from this object
Click ok and save
Repeat for each folder described above

The use will now have permissions to see the recycling bin files and will no longer receive the error.

Fix 2

Simply delete these three folders out of the users directory
the next time they login it will re-create the folders automatically with the correct permissions.

He did this already as listed in his original post.

to the OP -

Have you tried creating a separate windows profile, and then log into Windows and see if when you goto that external drive you are having the same file permission issues? I'm wondering if your windows profile is not corrupt.

I think your Missing the point

The reason he is not seeing the recycle bin at the root of the drive is that its not there.

The permission changes I mentioned earlier need to be done on the 3 folders
specified.. NOT THE ROOT FOLDER as described in the original post

The recyclebin error is coming from
one of these 3 folders
My Music
My Pictures
My Videos

Sounds like his easiest fix is deleting the 3 folders
1.If the user actually has data in them.. copy the data out to another folder temporarily.
2.Delete the folders
3.When the user logs in again the folders will re-create with the correct permissions
